Knowledge Infrastructure

The access to the knowledge infrastructure is still limited to project partners.

We look forward to creating an open access resource soon.

Welcome to the ACCORDs Knowledge Infrastructure (KI), your gateway to ACCORDs EU research resources for 2D (nano)material characterisation. Our mission is to empower the scientific community by providing access to essential data and innovative tools. Through the ACCORDs KI, you can access and submit project related research protocols, experimental data and images, utilise standardised data upload templates, explore the extensive data available in our robust database and make use of our materials characterisation toolbox. Join us in advancing scientific discovery and innovation with the ACCORDs Infrastructure, designed to enhance collaboration and accelerate research outcomes. Our mission is to facilitate access to vital data and tools for the scientific community, enabling progress and innovation. Here´s what you´ll find:
    • Protocols. Here you can add, browse, and access protocols which have been used for the ACCORDs Project. The ACCORDs KI allows accessing and sharing of methodologies which have been applied during the project. The datasets of image-based 2D material characterisation include synthesis protocols, experimental preparation protocols, measurement protocols and data curation protocols and will be stored together with relevant metadata to make the data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). The resulting measured value and its metadata will give as complete information as possible so that possibilities of future use of the measured value is maximised.
    • Data. Here you can add, browse and access data which has been used for the ACCORDs Project. The data warehouse is offering long-term storage of data produced by the ACCORDs project or provided by the ACCORDs community. The data warehouse supports the data harmonisation and the implementation of FAIR principles towards the goal of generating a reference resource for 2D (nano)materials risk assessment.
    • Images. Here you can add, browse and access images which have been used for the ACCORDs Project (Image Repository). The ACCORDs Passports is an image-related summary data which provides key information from all experimental activities within the project. OMERO is a software which offers a variety of tools for image storing, analysis, sharing, publishing and much more. OMERO comes along with many features such as add-ons, plug-ins and the possibility to access OMERO with different computational language models with which OMERO can be adjusted and adapted to specific needs. Dedicated work on image analysis and correlation is essential in this part of the KI.
